Guiding Strength Through Cancer Care

Lymphoma

In Ayurveda, conditions like lymphoma are viewed as a deep imbalance of the body’s internal systems, especially those related to Rakta (blood), Rasa (lymph/fluid circulation), and Agni (digestive and metabolic fire). When these systems weaken, toxins (Ama) accumulate, affecting the body’s natural defence and cleansing mechanisms. This may show up as swollen glands, persistent fatigue, fever, or unexplained weakness.

Leukemia

Conditions like leukemia are understood as a severe imbalance of Rakta Dhatu (blood tissue) and Majja Dhatu (bone marrow) in Ayurveda, often linked with weakened Agni and accumulation of Ama (toxins) in the body. When these foundational tissues are disturbed, the body’s ability to nourish itself and maintain immunity declines, which may present as frequent infections, persistent weakness, pallor, or easy bruising.

Mouth Cancer

This condition is often understood as a deep disturbance of Mukhagata Roga, involving imbalances in Rakta (blood), Mamsa (muscle tissue), and Pitta dosha, often aggravated by long-term irritation, poor oral hygiene, tobacco use, or weakened digestive fire (Agni). When toxins (Ama) accumulate and local tissues lose balance, symptoms may appear as non-healing mouth ulcers, pain, burning sensation, difficulty chewing, or speaking discomfort.

Lung Cancer

In Ayurvedic understanding, conditions resembling lung cancer are associated with Pranavaha Srotas (the respiratory channels) being deeply disturbed, often along with imbalances in Vata and Kapha doshas. When these channels are obstructed or weakened and Agni is compromised, the body struggles to maintain healthy respiration. This imbalance may express itself as chronic cough, chest discomfort, heaviness, or increasing breathlessness.

Liver Cancer

As per Ayurveda, the liver is regarded as a central organ for metabolic balance, blood purification, and energy regulation. When its functioning is chronically burdened—due to improper diet, long-term stress, toxins, or weakened digestion—the body gradually loses its ability to regulate nourishment and waste effectively. Over time, this disruption may manifest as serious liver disorders, presenting symptoms such as unexplained weight loss, abdominal discomfort, digestive disturbances, or yellowing of the eyes and skin

Breast Cancer

Breast-related disorders are associated with disturbances in Stanya Vaha Srotas (channels related to breast tissue) and the healthy nourishment of Mamsa (muscle tissue) and Rakta (blood). When natural tissue balance is affected over time—due to hormonal changes, lifestyle stress, improper digestion, or accumulated metabolic strain—the body may show warning signs such as a palpable lump, heaviness, tenderness, or visible changes in breast shape.

Polycythemia (Cancer)

Polycythemia occurs due to a disturbance in the balance and flow of Rakta Dhatu (blood tissue), where the blood becomes excessive, dense, or improperly circulated. When digestion and metabolism (Agni) are imbalanced and the body’s natural regulation of blood formation is disrupted, circulation slows and stagnation may develop. This altered state can increase internal heat, the thickness of blood, and strain on normal vascular movement.
